Grading Policy for Science
EVERY THURSDAY IS QUIZ DAY!!!

Homework:
25%
Every assignment is graded for completeness
Quizzes:
25%    8 Thursday quizzes and 2 unannounced pop quizzes
 (pop quiz dates 9/30/08, 10/28/08, 12/2/08, 1/13/09, 2/10/09, 3/24/09, 5/5/09, 6/9/09)
Projects: 25%    At least one "hands-on" at home project with DUE DATES
10 Week's Test: 20%  Test Dates:  Oct. 30, 2008, Jan. 15, 2009, March 26, 2009, June 11, 2009, Final Exam:  June 23, 2009
Writing on Demand: 5% Once every 5 weeks, an in-class only writing activity.

EVERY 10 WEEKS, 8 QUIZZES AND 2 UNANNOUNCED POP QUIZZES ARE GIVEN

Final average is based on the 4 quarterly averages and a final exam.
